As well as being a Partner of Penrith’s Winter Droving this year, we’re also supporting its very special event – The Ullswater Droving…
As part of the Winter Droving event, on Saturday 21st October, as dusk descends, Eden Arts will be ‘Welcoming the Wolf’ in a spectacular start to the Droving season, giving locals the chance to join in as a participant in a ‘joyful collective experience’.
This special event is a unique opportunity to participate in creating a magical artwork in the landscape using Geolights first developed for last year’s Green Space Dark Skies event, as featured on BBC Countryfile.
The inimitable Spark! will also return to Welcome the Wolf, marking the beginning of the Droving week as the event processes from the jetty through the village. This will form part of a spectacular finale for spectators of the event.
