We’re very happy to have installed further themed wall graphics for the Children’s Ward at Cumberland Infirmary.
This time, we’ve transformed one of their spaces into Wild Woodlands – a colourful celebration of the wildlife found right here on our doorstep. From curious red squirrels and majestic deer to woodland birds and native trees, the new graphics bring a little piece of Cumbria indoors, creating a calming environment for young patients and their families, with plenty to look at.
One of our clever Graphic Designers designed the graphics and we manufactured them at our Penrith HQ before fitting them.
This is the latest in a number of spaces we’ve changed for the ward – you can read about the others here (link to previous news pieces about it) Many of us at Ast have benefitted from the invaluable work of the staff on the Children’s Ward and so this work is something we’re particularly proud of.
Projects like this remind us that graphics can do far more than decorate a space. They can change how people feel, lift spirits and create positive experiences when they’re needed most.
We’d like to thank the incredible staff at Cumberland Infirmary for the care and compassion they show every day, and we’re proud to continue supporting the Children’s Ward in any way we can.
It’s a privilege to give something back to a place that means so much to so many of us, and we hope Wild Woodlands helps make every visit just that little bit brighter.
