We’re proud to be supporting Bikes Boats Boots again this year. It’s a brilliant day of outdoor adventure and raises essential funds for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice in Cumbria. We’ll be putting in at least one team and urge as many Cumbrian businesses as possible to get involved.

Complete the whole course as a team or choose the relay option for an unforgettable experience. During the day you will cycle, canoe and hike amongst the stunning back drop of Ullswater and Helvellyn…
BIKES
You will cycle a total of 34km (20 miles) of undulating elevation around Dockray, Dacre and along the edge of the stunning shores of Ullswater.
BOATS
Grab a paddle and canoe a 3km (2 miles) route on stunning Ullswater. It will take teamwork to complete this element, as you paddle as a pair. If you are taking part as a four your boats will be connected, creating a stable craft to keep your team together.
BOOTS
Trek to the summit of the third highest peak in England (elevation of 1031m), the magnificent Helvellyn. A 17km (10.5 miles) round trip will reward you with incredible views across the Lake District to take in your achievement.
What to expect on the day?
You will cycle, paddle and hike throughout the day, either doing all three (all-in) or as a relay for an unforgettable experience. When you arrive back to basecamp, you will be welcomed as a hospice hero for food, fizz and celebrations for your incredible achievements.
