From Boxes to Track – Bringing Fusion Motorsport’s F4 Vision to Life

There’s something special about seeing a project come together from the ground up.

When Fusion Motorsport entrusted us with producing and fitting the livery for their exciting move into Formula 4, we knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary wrap job.

The car didn’t roll into the workshop ready to be branded – it arrived in boxes, with the bodywork carefully packed as individual components waiting to be transformed.

Over the following days, those bare carbon fibre panels gradually became something altogether different…

Working alongside Fusion Motorsport’s talented design team, we took their striking vision and meticulously produced and installed every element of the livery. Each panel was wrapped individually before the car was reassembled, ensuring every line, curve and graphic flowed perfectly once the car came together.

Behind the scenes, our Key Account Manager, Tom, was there every step of the way, overseeing the project from initial planning through to final installation. By working closely with both our production team and Fusion Motorsport, Tom ensured everything ran seamlessly and that the project met the trusted standards our customers have come to expect from Ast.

The result? A bold, unmistakable Formula 4 machine that’s every bit as exciting standing still as we imagine it will be flying down the straights.

This project was a brilliant example of what can be achieved when two teams work together. Fusion created an eye-catching design, our production and application team brought it to life with the precision required for motorsport, and Tom ensured every stage of the journey was delivered smoothly from start to finish.

Watching the transformation from raw carbon fibre components to a fully liveried race car was incredibly rewarding. Seeing the finished car sitting in the workshop for the first time made all those hours of careful fitting worthwhile.

A huge thank you to everyone at Fusion Motorsport for trusting us with such an exciting project. It’s been a pleasure to be part of your journey into Formula 4, and we can’t wait to see the car making its debut on track.

Best of luck for the season – we’ll certainly be cheering it on.
