Environmental Social Governance

We’re proud to play an active part in our community and this has long been a natural and genuinely embedded way of working for us.

The first thing we see as part of this is looking after our team and as well as providing an inspiring, comfortable and enjoyable workplace, we like to put on extra-curricular events and outings – everything from go-karting, to Three Peaks challenges, to Summer barbeques, to Christmas parties.

Then this extends to our local area and we’ve long worked with charities and sports teams to support them – providing branded kit, signage, and financial support.

We support the Children’s Ward at Cumberland Infirmary and you can read more about our work with them over the last couple of years here.

We also work with Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice and support its annual Bikes Boats Boots event.

We’re very proud to be a Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) Corporate Partner. The GNAAS brings pioneering pre-hospital care to where it’s needed, rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year. It isn’t NHS-funded and so needs financial support to maintain its invaluable work.

We encourage our team to get involved too – by supporting, training for and taking part in these events, teams and endeavours.

If you’re curious about becoming part of our team, you can see our available vacancies here.
