Astaura has joined forces with OGC Design to create a new commercial interior design consultancy with capabilities to both create and build new interior schemes.

Gary Cranson, Director of OGC Design which he has been running since 2008, brings with him over 15 years of experience in the commercial interior design industry, along with a good understanding of the construction, refurbishment and fit-out industry having worked as a consultant and in-house Design and Build designer. He has provided creative office interior solutions for a number of blue-chip companies including Cadbury, The Crown Estate and The UK Border Agency.

Astaura joins forces with OGC

Mark established Astaura in 2014 as a specialist in corporate graphics and brand identity for commercial spaces and the company has quickly gone on to become well-known within the industry. Astaura has created branded office spaces for companies including Stobart Group, David Allen and London Southend Airport.

Astaura will now offer a range of other interior services including interior design consultancy, CGI & animation, bespoke wall and 3M DI-NOC coverings, floor coverings, bespoke acoustic solutions and products and furniture sourcing and provision.

“Over the years, Mark and I have worked together and I watched Astaura’s growing success with interest,” said Gary. “When the opportunity arose to work with Mark it was too good to miss. It’s exciting to combine my interior design knowledge and experience with Astaura’s branding and product expertise and together we can achieve great things. We already have some amazing work in the pipeline and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Astaura’s work will be focused on the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors and we are already delivering work throughout the UK and Europe, just a month into our merger.

“Gary and OGC Design will bring invaluable interior design experience to Astaura,” said Mark. “Our specialism at Astaura has been creating strong corporate identities and actually fitting out a corporate space and Gary will complement these skills hugely. It will be a strong partnership and this is already proving to be the case – we have some very exciting work already in place.”

Gary and Mark are also in the process of developing two different lines of brand new products to enhance design capabilities for the architecture and interior design industries. The first is a comprehensive range of bespoke digital vinyl coverings to transform existing surfaces. The second is acoustic solutions specifically designed for the open-plan workplace.
